Game Snapshot
WayOut is a Mac puzzle that asks you to turn every tile off on each board using as few moves as possible. Built on the familiar Lights Out idea, it expands the formula with a variety of board shapes and new mechanics so every level feels fresh and engaging.
Gameplay Mechanics
Tapping a tile affects neighboring pieces and forces you to plan several steps ahead. Levels introduce distinct layouts and interactions that shift how you approach each puzzle, rewarding careful thinking and pattern recognition rather than quick reflexes.
Calm, Uncluttered Presentation
Following a Zen-inspired approach, the interface removes common distractions — there are no timers, no scoreboards, and no hard move caps. That pared-down design helps players focus on the logic of each puzzle and enjoy a more meditative pace.
Skill Development and Replay
As you move through the stages, you can refine methods and discover more efficient solutions. The game encourages experimentation: revisit earlier puzzles to improve your move counts and hone your problem-solving techniques.
