Quick summary
WaterMeasure is a logic-based puzzle built around a minimalist presentation and a small set of precise tools. Using only two vessels and a goal quantity, it asks you to plan steps carefully to reach the target. Levels are cleverly structured to increase in complexity as you progress.
Core mechanics
Each puzzle starts with a 5‑liter container, a 3‑liter container, and a specified volume you must produce. Allowed actions are:
- Fill either cup from an unlimited source
- Empty a cup completely
- Transfer liquid from one cup to the other until one is either empty or the other is full
Puzzles follow that simple rule set, but the intended solutions often require multi-step foresight.
How you interact
The game is played entirely with the mouse:
- Left-click picks the cup you want to act on
- Right-click performs the pour action between cups
The control scheme keeps input straightforward and focused on planning rather than dexterity.
Progression and challenge
There are 103 puzzles in the planned set. The early stages introduce the basic patterns gently; later puzzles combine those patterns into more intricate problems that demand careful sequencing. While the steady difficulty curve rewards methodical players, the advanced levels can be quite demanding and might frustrate casual or quick-play users.
Who will enjoy it
If you prefer quiet, cerebral challenges and appreciate a stripped-back interface, WaterMeasure will likely appeal to you. It emphasizes logical reasoning and patience over flashy presentation or rapid action.
Development status and caveats
The game has not been released yet, so specific features and the final level set could be adjusted before launch. Expect the core concept to remain, but details might shift during development.
Other game to try
An alternative lighter option is Purble Place, which offers a different style of casual puzzle gameplay if you want something less methodical and more bite-sized.
