A near-future London reimagined

Rather than focusing on politics, the game explores the social fallout of a fractured Britain. London has become an increasingly controlled metropolis: surveillance is everywhere, private security forces patrol the streets, and organized crime preys on citizens. Recruit anyone — everyone is playable

Unlike previous installments, this title removes the single, fixed protagonist. Instead, virtually every NPC you encounter can be recruited and played. This system gives the game a vast pool of playable perspectives and emergent narratives.

Structure and specializations

Recruits become members of DedSec, a clandestine hacker collective fighting the regime. Each candidate arrives with a backstory you can leverage during recruitment, and once enlisted you assign them a role within the team.

You may swap between any recruited characters at will; cutscenes and story beats will follow whichever agent you are currently controlling while the others continue their tasks independently.
