VIVA — unified social and commerce app

VIVA is a cross-device application designed for iPhone and a wide range of other smartphones. Joining the VIVA network is free — there’s no mandatory sign-up fee to start using the app. The product is organized into two main areas that separate everyday social interaction from transactional tools.

Social hub and messaging

The social side of VIVA includes a full-featured messenger for communicating with friends, family, and other VIVA members. You can send text conversations, media and files, and stay connected with groups or individual contacts.

Features include:

• Single SMS sending for one-to-one text delivery
• Bulk SMS capability to reach multiple recipients at once
• Photo and video sharing for richer conversations
• Real-time instant chat for quick back-and-forth messaging

All community messaging tools are available at no cost and do not force any purchases inside the app.

Wallets and purchase tools

The commerce portion of the app is optional. To access purchase-related services, create a VIVA purchase account — this account can be opened at any authorized VIVA retail location. When you register a purchase account, the system automatically creates a purchase wallet linked to that account.

You can:

• Use the wallet and add funds when you need to make purchases
• Leave the wallet unused and continue to use VIVA purely as a messenger

Availability and charges

VIVA’s community features remain free to use without hidden charges or compulsory in-app transactions. The purchase account and wallet are optional conveniences for people who want to buy goods or services through the platform; topping up the wallet is user-controlled and not enforced by the app.
