App overview and compatibility

VitaDock+ for Android lets your phone or tablet connect to the Medisana Connect ecosystem using Bluetooth. The app is free to install and provides tools to monitor movement, log workouts, and share activity with friends.

Installing and pairing

Download VitaDock+ from your device’s app store at no cost.
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.
Open the app and follow the prompts to pair your wearable or sensor with the Medisana Connect platform.

Once paired, the app begins transferring data to the cloud automatically.

Live synchronization and status indicators

After connection, your measurements sync with the server in real time. Connection and sync status are visible in three places:

on the wearable or sensor itself,
inside the VitaDock+ app,
and on the Medisana Connect online portal.

This makes it easy to confirm whether a device is communicating correctly.

Managing activities and devices

VitaDock+ supports full management of activities and linked devices:

Create a new activity or modify an existing entry (date, length, and type can be changed).
Remove an activity if it’s no longer needed.
Add or delete devices from your account so you keep only the hardware you use.

Activity-related configuration options are available from the app’s activity settings screen.

Activity tracker configuration

From the Activity Settings, you can customize device-specific details:

Edit the device identifier assigned to a tracker.
Change the activity category associated with a record.
Delete activities or unlink devices when necessary.

These controls let you keep tracking data organized and accurate.

Metrics available directly on the device

Some measurements can be viewed right on your wearable or tracker:

Battery level
Activity status
Heart rate
Step count
