Quick summary
Unapp is a lightweight utility that offers a compact, human-curated directory of single-purpose applications. The collection is intentionally small: each entry is designed for a focused task, and most apps come from independent developers rather than major stores.
Supported platforms
- Windows
- Android
- iOS
- macOS
Scope and organization
Rather than presenting a massive, fully categorized marketplace, Unapp keeps the selection limited and simple. The directory does not organize every entry into fixed categories, so discovering an app often requires scrolling through the list. The emphasis is on minimal, no-frills tools aimed at specific uses.
Finding apps
If you don’t want to scroll, use the search box located at the top of the page to locate apps by name or keyword. Browsing manually can also reveal niche projects that aren’t easy to find via search.
Submitting your application
Developers can add their software by using the “Submit App” option at the bottom of the site. Submission requires completing an online form and paying a $20 processing fee. Not every submission is accepted — apps must meet Unapp’s inclusion criteria to appear in the directory.
