What the app is

UFCSPA Mobile is an application created by the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre to make campus services more accessible. The first public release concentrates on tools for students, while several features are also available to teaching and administrative personnel.

For students: key capabilities

• Direct shortcuts to Moodle and institutional Webmail
• News items published on the university website
• Search the library catalog, place holds and renew loans
• View grades and attendance summaries
• Check timetables and available rooms
• Sign up for extension courses and events

For faculty and administrative staff: available tools

• Consult room bookings and availability
• Enroll in extension events and related activities
• Browse the library catalog, request reservations and renew items
• Stay informed with news posted on the university site

How to get started

You must log in with your institutional email address to use the app. Once authenticated, the available services will appear according to your role (student, faculty or staff).

Additional notes

The initial rollout prioritizes student-facing functionality but supports many common tasks for staff as well, such as room checks and library services.
