Quick summary
Touchscreen Response Speed Up is a freemium utility that aims to make your device’s touchscreen more responsive. It raises the display’s touch sensitivity to give a snappier feel, which many users notice most while gaming—especially in fast-paced first-person shooters where quicker, more accurate touch input helps with aiming and firing.
Versions and what they include
Both the free and paid editions provide basic tools to analyze and tune touchscreen behavior, but the subscription unlocks more advanced controls and removes advertisements.
- Paid-only capabilities
- Full screen calibration tools and the ability to apply DPI adjustments
- An ad-free experience while using the app
-
Access to additional hidden tuning options
-
Features available without payment
- Built-in sensitivity tuning and automated response analysis
- Diagnostics for screen background behavior and responsiveness
How the app functions
Using the app is straightforward:
- Run an initial analysis so the app can determine an appropriate sensitivity baseline for your device.
- Review the suggested optimization and either accept it by tapping Boost or fine-tune the level manually with the on-screen slider.
- If you navigate to the Parameters section you can view alternate DPI settings, but applying those settings requires the premium upgrade.
- Calibration options are visible in the app but are locked behind the subscription as well.
Trial, billing and advertisements
A free three-day trial is available so you can test premium features before committing. Keep in mind:
- The trial requires you to add a payment method to your Google account.
- Trial and paid users will not see the frequent ads that appear throughout the free version.
- Although ads don’t interfere with the calibration process itself, they can be intrusive because they pop up whenever you switch between different sections of the app.
Practical limitations
The app can noticeably improve touch responsiveness and reduce lag for a smoother experience, particularly during gaming. However, many of the most useful functions—true calibration, DPI changes, and several advanced optimizations—are locked behind the paywall. If you want to test those extras, take advantage of the short trial to decide whether the premium upgrade is worth it.
