Quick summary
Touchgrind — previously a hit on iPhone and iPad alongside Touchgrind BMX — has arrived on macOS. This is a fingerboard-style skateboarding title where you manipulate a virtual skateboard directly with touch gestures.
Gameplay and learning curve
The controls are intuitive enough for newcomers to get rolling fast, but the timing and precision needed for advanced tricks and combos demand a lot of practice. Simple moves are quick to pick up; mastering aerials and sequences can take substantial time.
Control method and supported machines
Touchgrind for Mac is designed for trackpad control. That limits native playability to MacBooks with built-in trackpads (MacBook models from late 2009 onward and MacBook Pro models from 2008 onward). If you don’t have a compatible laptop, you can still play with an attached Magic Trackpad on any Mac.
