Snapshot planner for macOS
Today is a compact helper that gives you an immediate overview of the day’s appointments and to-dos without opening Calendar. It stays in sync with Apple’s Calendar (iCal) and Mail apps, so items you create or edit there appear in Today automatically. When you choose a different calendar in Calendar, Today filters its display to show only the events and tasks from that source.
Creating items and current limitations
You can add new tasks and events directly inside Today, but note the creation tools are basic: alarms, attendee lists and file attachments are not supported from within the app. For full-featured event editing, use Calendar.
Fast access and workflow
Today behaves like a lightweight widget — launch it from the menu bar or the Dock with a single click to see everything scheduled for the day. It’s designed for quick focus sessions when you don’t want to open the full Calendar app, while keeping all changes synchronized across Calendar and Mail.
