The Great Coffee Caper is a premium retro pixel adventure from Everyday Magic. It’s a fantasy mystery set in a woodland town where you step into the shoes of a celebrated investigator to solve a peculiar case: the town’s supply of coffee beans has gone missing.
How the Investigation Works
You play as Detective Hootsworth, summoned to probe the theft that happened during a stormy night. Explore every corner of town, inspect scenes closely, and talk to a wide range of residents to collect information. Use the evidence you gather to form hypotheses and narrow down the list of suspects until you identify the thief.
Unusual Clue Encounters
Clues aren’t collected by simple point-and-click alone — they’re revealed through short, arcade-style encounters that resemble bullet hell mechanics. Win those skirmishes to unlock pieces of the puzzle, then combine them to build a clearer picture of what occurred.
Townsfolk and Settings
The game features a colorful cast of characters and multiple locations around the village to visit. Each person you question can offer new leads or motives, and each location may hide important details that change the direction of your investigation.
