TDPT brings live full-body motion capture to an iPhone using just the device camera. It can track motion in real time from a single full-body frame or while playing back a video. For best results, make sure the camera (or video) clearly shows the entire body without other people or major obstructions in the frame.

Appearance and avatar options

TDPT supports several ways to personalize the visual scene and your virtual character:

• Import a VRM model to appear as a custom avatar
• Use an image from the Photos app as a background layer

Camera, input and avatar control

You can manage how input is captured and how the avatar reacts:

• Select a favorite video to drive live motion capture
• Toggle between front-facing and rear cameras
• Adjust avatar orientation, translation and scale (rotate, move, enlarge/shrink)

Settings you can tweak

A compact settings area lets you fine-tune display and capture behavior:

• Change the app’s background display mode and pick background images
• Mute or change the input video sound level and enable microphone input for lip-syncing
• Swap which input (camera or chosen video) is shown, pick a frame rate and display that rate on screen
• Apply movement smoothing filters or coarser, more rigid tracking depending on style

Advanced / Premium capabilities

The Premium section unlocks features designed for streaming, live performance and export workflows:

• Live-stream content using ReplayKit or RTMP
• Export recorded motion in VMD or BVH formats for downstream animation
• Send motion data in real time via VMC protocol or OSC tracker to platforms such as VRChat or Cluster

Compatibility and practical tips

TDPT runs on iPhone SE (2nd generation) and on iPhone 11 or later models. For reliable capture, position the device so the full body stays inside the frame, avoid crowded backgrounds, and test different smoothing/filter settings to match the motion style you want.
