How the software operates
VIP stands for Validation & IP Protection. After installing the desktop client and accepting the terms, the app presents a credential ID (often shown as a serial number) and a six-digit security code that changes on a timer. A fresh code is generated roughly every 30 seconds, making it difficult for attackers to reuse one.
Typical activation flow:
- Open the VIP Access application and note the shown serial number (credential ID).
- On the website that supports VIP, select the option to activate or add a security key.
- Enter the serial number from the app.
- Type the current six-digit code before it expires; if the timer runs out, use the next code displayed.
- Submit the details and wait for confirmation that the security key is active.
You can launch the program manually from the VIP Access folder inside the Applications directory if it does not start automatically.
