Quick summary
Spooky Express is a polished strategy-puzzle title from Draknek and Friends set inside a haunted amusement park. Players build railway routes to move monsters—vampires, zombies and other creeps—to their proper resting places while preventing human passengers from being frightened or infected.
How it plays
You plan track layouts by clicking and dragging rails to create routes through spooky attractions. Along the way you pick up various cryptids and guide them to coffins, graves, or other destinations. The challenge comes from balancing efficient monster deliveries with keeping humans unharmed: avoid scares, bites, and any transformations that would ruin the run.
Scope and progression
The game features more than 100 levels that begin with simple puzzles and steadily introduce fresh mechanics and more complex board designs. Maps grow more intricate as new obstacles and goals are layered in, rewarding careful planning and timing.
Demo & current status
The project is still being actively developed, but a free demo is available so new players can sample the experience. That demo includes over 35 stages spanning four distinct spooky areas, giving a substantial preview before committing to the full release.
Reasons to try it
Spooky Express combines a charming aesthetic with tight, thoughtful puzzle design. If you enjoy route-planning and gradually evolving challenges set to a Halloween atmosphere, it’s worth a look—especially since you can try a sizable portion for free first.
