Overview of the tool
SperrySmartMeter is a mobile application that pairs with Sperry Instruments DM6850T Ultra-Thin and SDMM10000 Smart Meter devices. Using Bluetooth, the app converts an iPhone into a remote measurement console that can monitor, capture, and organize multimeter readings without direct contact with the instrument.
Remote display and safer workflows
Use your phone as a secondary display to stand back from live circuits while reading measurements. This remote view is useful when the meter is in a hard-to-reach spot or when you need to observe values from a safe distance. The capability to capture readings remotely helps speed up diagnosis of continuity faults and intermittent electrical issues.
Data capture, visualization and notes
- Record measurements continuously to your phone while the meter is within Bluetooth range.

- Attach comments to individual data entries and set custom alerts that trigger when values pass specified thresholds.
Exporting and sharing test records
