Quick introduction to the sight-singing trainer

SIGHT SINGING PRO lets you develop sight-singing skills by giving you a reference pitch and timing cue through its integrated metronome. As you sing, the app listens and compares your pitch to the target note; if there’s a mismatch it will sound the correct pitch and display how far your sung note deviates from the intended tone. You can also monitor both the reference pitch and your live input together, in sync with the metronome.

How to get started

1. Use the "Tonic" control to set or verify the key of the score, and scroll through the notation to preview the complete melody. The app will track and record the pitch you produce for each individual note.
2. Launch the application and tap the "Sight Singing" option to begin a practice session — the current melody will be loaded onto the display.

Additional pointers and availability

• If you want alternatives or cannot find the app on your device, check your phone’s app marketplace (for example, the OPPO App Market) for free versions or similar sight-singing tools.
• The app shows the sung pitch for each note, so you can review your performance visually as well as by ear.

Troubleshooting — I can’t hear the metronome clearly

Background noise (classrooms, offices, etc.) can make it difficult to pick out the metronome click. Try these remedies:

• Wear earphones or headphones so the metronome plays directly into your ears while you sing.
• Move to a quieter location, raise the device volume, or enable any vibration/tactile beat option if the app or device supports it.
