Satellite Director is a free Android utility from Zekitez that helps you point TV dishes and antennas precisely. Instead of manual calculations, the app uses your device’s sensors and satellite data to show the satellite’s direction in the sky, making dish alignment quicker and simpler.

Hardware and permissions needed

To operate correctly, the app requires a device equipped with a working compass and GPS. It will ask for permission to access:

• the camera — to help you visually align the dish with the on-screen indicator,
• location services (GPS) — to determine your position and compute satellite angles,
• storage — so you can save screenshots or edit and persist a custom satellite list.

Calibrating the compass before use is recommended to ensure accurate azimuth readings.

Privacy and advertising policy

The app does not collect or transmit personal or non-personal information, and it contains no advertising. Its functionality is local to your device; data remains on your phone or tablet unless you choose to share it yourself.
