Reg Organizer — Complete Registry Maintenance Suite

Reg Organizer is a comprehensive utility for managing Windows Registry entries and related configuration files. It allows you to inspect, modify, and remove registry keys, and preview .reg files before importing them — even directly from Windows Explorer. The program also includes an automatic cleanup mode to help improve system performance and a fast search that finds all keys associated with a specific application. Usability Improvements

• Dynamic control resizing: interface elements now resize in real time while you drag, instead of waiting until the mouse button is released.
• Smarter export naming: when you save a registry key to a file, the suggested file name is automatically derived from the key’s name.

Enhancements to the Uninstall Manager

• Multiple removal: the uninstall list now supports selecting several programs at once so you can uninstall more than one application in one operation.
• Better trace detection: the trace-search algorithm was enhanced to find more leftover files and registry entries after an application is removed.
• Start trace scan during uninstall: if an app’s native uninstaller stalls or behaves incorrectly, Reg Organizer can begin searching for leftover traces while the built-in uninstaller is still running.
• Install-with-tracing from Explorer: you can launch monitored installations straight from the Windows Explorer context menu.
• Update traced apps: applications that were installed with tracing can now receive updates while retaining trace information.
• Optional restore point creation: creation of a System Restore Point before uninstalling can be turned off in the program’s settings.
• Windows 8 Release Preview compatibility added.

Fixed Issues

• Portable edition cleanup: the portable build no longer leaves two empty folders behind in system data directories.
• Session path behavior: when the option to restore the previous session’s registry location was disabled, switching to that path from the registry cleaner or uninstall manager failed to open it — this has been corrected.
• Shared Libraries counter overflow: the Manual Registry Cleanup view for shared libraries no longer shows negative numbers when a very large count would otherwise overflow.
• Column sorting in reg-file tabs: sorting columns in the registry editor for reg-file tabs now works correctly.
• Shell Commands check error resolved: the Registry Cleaner no longer reports the "Failed to get data for" error when examining Shell Commands entries.
