Brief overview
Rainforest Adventure is not a survival trek through the Amazon nor a wildlife simulator. Instead, it’s a light, casual puzzle game that tests your pattern recognition and logic as you rearrange colorful tropical-themed pieces.
Main objective
The aim is simple: create clusters of three or more identical pieces by swapping adjacent tiles. Whenever you clear a group, the cells they occupied convert to a gold color. Your mission for each level is to turn every tile on the board to gold to advance.
Core mechanics
- Collect golden suns as you score points; these act as helpful boosts to finish stubborn sections of the grid.
- Form matches of three or more by swapping adjacent pieces to clear them from the board.
- Fill the entire playing area with gold tiles to progress to the next stage.
Visuals and onboarding
The game features vivid graphics and smooth animations that make each match satisfying to watch. A guided tutorial runs when you first start, and you can enable ongoing in-game hints to walk you through your initial plays.
What makes it fun
Although the gameplay is straightforward, the level design can become challenging—especially when only one or two tiles remain unfilled. Golden suns are valuable here, because they speed up completion and prevent sessions from stalling at the very end.
