Quick overview
Path of Titans is a free-to-download multiplayer dinosaur simulation that supports cross-platform play. You control a dinosaur in a shared open world where survival, combat, and growth are the core loops. Servers commonly host roughly 200 players, and there are over 25 playable or encounterable species to explore.
Growing up in a prehistoric world
Players start as hatchlings and progress into adults, learning to hunt, avoid threats, and carve out a niche in the ecosystem. The game world is expansive (about 8 km × 8 km per server), and you can team up with other online players to tackle challenges together. Expect to face powerful predators roaming regions like Panjura while you develop skills and strategies to survive.
Playable and encounterable examples include:
- Stegosaurus
- Sarcosuchus
- Spinosaurus
- Allosaurus
Personalize your dinosaur and den
Path of Titans offers extensive customization for both your creature and its shelter. You can modify coloration, markings, and unlock new skins to change your dinosaur’s appearance. As you progress, new combat abilities become available, and your cave can be furnished with trophies and items you acquire in the wild.
Audio overhaul — clearer distant calls
The team reworked long-range dinosaur vocalizations so they carry farther and provide better spatial cues. Before, distant calls were muffled and vague; now broadcast and aggressive calls travel with more clarity and blend smoothly into close-range roars. Each fundamental call has been redesigned to convey a distinct mood for different species, prioritizing gameplay atmosphere and recognizability over strict biological accuracy.
Early sound improvements target large predators, with smaller and medium-sized species slated for subsequent updates:
- Spinosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus
New water-dwelling antagonists
The game continues to add creatures that traverse both land and water, increasing the danger of escaping into rivers, swamps, or open sea. These additions make aquatic zones more hazardous and varied.
Highlighted aquatic additions:
- Tanystropheus — notable for its exceptionally long neck
- Goniopholis — a crocodile-like predator with distinctive plated back armor and bone-crushing potential at alpha strength
