Notepad++ Portable brings the familiar functionality of Notepad++ into a version made for removable drives. It’s designed to run straight from a USB stick so you can edit files on different machines without installing the full program on each one.

Setup and storage requirements

The portable build is extremely small—installation takes roughly 2 MB—so it fits comfortably on even the most modest flash drives. Once copied to your key, the program runs without leaving a large footprint on the host system.
