Cooperative resurrection and shared progression
Next Up Hero centers on cooperative play by turning each defeat into a meaningful contribution. When a hero falls inside the Spiral Shards, they leave behind an Echo — a lingering imprint of their run. Later players can revive that Echo and use it to push deeper into the dungeon, so deaths become part of a cumulative team effort rather than a final setback. This “community continue” loop encourages players to build on one another’s attempts and work toward common goals.
Playable roster and build variety
Nine unique heroes are available, each outfitted with different weapons and skill sets so you can match a character to your preferred tactics. Progression is driven by abilities and loadout choices, allowing you to mix and match tools and traits to discover new synergies. The result is a lot of replay value as you experiment with different combinations and strategies.
