Mt. Slope is a free Windows mod for Descenders that adds several new downhill routes and tweaks the riding experience. Designed to intensify downhill play, the mod’s first release introduced a set of varied lines and later builds expanded the selection. The full course runs roughly 1,040 meters and features a pronounced gradient that makes for fast, adrenaline-packed runs.
Route lineup
- BLACK Trail — A demanding expert route with technical features and steep sections; one of the original v1.0 tracks aimed at experienced riders.
- BLUE Trail — A straightforward downhill line introduced in v1.0, intended as an accessible option for newcomers or warm-up runs.
- RED Trail — Also from v1.0, this route blends slopestyle elements with downhill pacing and is geared toward advanced, performance-focused players.
- YELLOW Trail (“ILY”) — Added in v2.0, this new track brings a distinct personality and fresh layout to the roster.
Navigation and riding guidance
Trail markers are placed along each route to indicate the recommended lines and highlight ideal points for speed control, jumps, and stylistic moves. Following these markers will help players learn the most efficient way down each trail and pick up tips for tackling specific features.
