Mplayer is a great application. I like it. There is one aspect that could be improved. When mplayer implements the loop option and multiple file input, mplayer exec's a new process. The consequence of this is that if I happen to have switched workspaces for a short period, the new process always starts in the new workspace covering up what I am doing rather than staying in the original workspace. If mplayer exec'd the original process for the loop option and multiple file input, the new instance would stay in the original workspace. I would prefer that.
