The app connects travellers who want an affordable trip with drivers willing to share journeys, helping passengers find safe rides and drivers save on fuel by filling empty seats.
How to Book a Ride (for Passengers)
- Create an account and complete identity verification through the Home Affairs database.
- Enter your pickup and drop-off addresses.
- Choose how many seats you need and pick the travel date.
- Search for available trips that match your route and schedule.
- Review listed drivers and trip details, including price and luggage allowance.
- Confirm your booking and pay using wallet credit.
How Drivers Add Trips
- After registering and verifying identity, create a new trip listing with your departure and destination points.
- Specify departure time, how many seats you can offer, and luggage capacity.
- Set the fare you want to charge and publish the trip.
- When passengers pay and rides complete, transfer your accumulated earnings out of your in-app Wallet.
Wallet & Payments
LongDrive handles transactions inside the app via an onboard Wallet. Passengers use Wallet credit to secure bookings, and drivers receive trip payments into their Wallet balance, which they can withdraw later. This keeps payments centralized and simplifies settlement for both parties.
