LinkedIn Lite is a slimmed-down edition of the main LinkedIn application, created to use far less storage and data than the full app. The installation package is extremely small — around 1 MB — which makes it quick to download and light on device resources.

This version targets users in regions where devices often have limited storage or where mobile networks are slower and less reliable. It aims to provide the core LinkedIn experience while minimizing bandwidth and disk space requirements, making it suitable for older phones and low-speed connections.
Size and performance benefits
Compared with the standard LinkedIn app (roughly 27 MB), LinkedIn Lite is dramatically smaller. That reduction translates to faster startup times, quicker installs, and smoother operation even over 2G or patchy networks. The most data-intensive features were removed or simplified to keep the app responsive on constrained hardware.
