• Filters, textured backgrounds, decorative borders, and multimedia support like video or music are not available.
• Advanced compositing tools and creative controls common in other collage apps are absent.

Design versus depth

The app nails usability: it’s fast, attractive, and aimed at users who want to assemble collages without a learning curve. However, its pared-down toolkit means you can’t layer creative effects or perform finer corrections, which limits the kinds of projects you can produce.

Bottom line

This standalone tool makes collage-making accessible, but it feels incomplete. Given Instagram’s resources and the small feature set here, integrating a more capable collage editor into the main app might have provided a better balance of convenience and capability.
