Quick summary — unofficial mobile fighter

Kimetsu Fight - Demon Slayer is a free-to-play action title from ZAY Dev that mimics the look and feel of console fighting games based on the Demon Slayer franchise. Presented as a 3D arena brawler, it borrows the anime’s breathing-style visuals and character designs and runs on the Unity engine. Controls are simplified and remapped for touch screens, but the current build feels like an early, incomplete release with very little content.

Similar titles you might compare it to:

  • MORTAL KOMBAT: The Ultimate Fighting Game
  • Wrestling Fighting Game 3D

Core mechanics and controls

The combat is deliberately simple and limited. You’ll notice:

  • A single special skill assigned to each character
  • One basic attack input
  • A virtual directional pad for movement

Characters and stages are fully modelled in 3D, but the move variety and combat depth are far below that of other fighting games in the same universe.

Modes and progression

Two primary options appear on the home screen, but both are underdeveloped:

  • Story Mode — shown in the menu but currently not playable; it’s essentially a placeholder
  • Versus Mode — accessible, yet extremely restricted in practice

Although the game displays six character portraits, only one fighter is usable (Tanjiro), and the only opponent available is Zenitsu. There’s no meaningful progression, unlocks, or variety at this stage.

Visual polish and technical problems

While the title uses full 3D rendering, several graphical and camera issues undermine the presentation:

  • Environmental assets (for example, trees) sometimes vanish or render as solid black silhouettes
  • Camera angles change automatically and abruptly, which can disrupt aim and spatial awareness
  • Combat animations and hit effects look placeholder-level, giving the impression of characters trading blows with simple colored overlays

These glitches and placeholder visuals make battles feel unrefined and reduce overall immersion.

Final impressions

The concept—an unofficial mobile Demon Slayer fighting game—has potential, but the current version requires substantial additional content and polish. With Story Mode unavailable, a nearly empty Versus Mode, limited rosters and arenas, and graphical/camera problems, the experience is more frustrating than fun for fans or new players. The title would benefit from more moves, playable characters, stable environments, and a functional single-player campaign before it can be recommended.
