Quick summary

Jurassic World™: The Game is a free-to-play park simulation and battle title created by Jam City, released as the official mobile tie-in to the 2015 film. It succeeds Jurassic Park™ Builder and combines base-building, creature management, and turn-based dino combat into one experience set across the fictional islands of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna.

Park construction and animal care

Players are tasked with rebuilding and expanding a modern Jurassic theme park. You place habitat buildings, create open enclosures, and invest earnings to add attractions and facilities. As dinosaurs grow and are upgraded, they require larger spaces and different amenities to remain healthy and productive.

Collecting and evolving prehistoric life

The game includes more than 300 prehistoric species, spanning classic dinosaurs, aquatic reptiles, Cenozoic creatures, and engineered hybrid bosses. New creatures are unlocked through card packs and collectible mechanics; you combine and evolve cards to strengthen your roster and unlock higher-tier enclosures.

Combat systems and multiplayer

A separate battle mode lets you pit your dinosaurs against other players’ teams in strategic, Pokémon-like encounters. You can compete in the Battle Arena to climb rankings and earn rewards. The game also reads compatible Hasbro® Brawlasaurs™ toys for additional in-game units and battles.

Characters, missions, and daily incentives

Iconic faces from the film — for example, a raptor handler and the park’s operations lead — appear as NPCs who provide missions, guidance, and daily log-in incentives. Completing objectives and progressing through missions yields currency, card packs, and other resources needed to expand the park and evolve creatures.

Notable strengths and drawbacks

  • Extensive creature roster: the variety includes uncommon aquatic and Cenozoic additions as well as hybrid bosses.
  • Engaging hybrid gameplay: blends simulation management with tactical monster combat for a distinct experience.
  • Social and competitive play: Battle Arena and toy-scanning extend long-term replayability.
  • Technical hiccups: some users report performance slowdowns and stability problems that can disrupt gameplay.
  • Resource-driven progression: collecting and evolving creatures via card mechanics can be time- or spend-heavy.

Final thoughts

If you enjoy theme-park simulators with a heavy focus on collecting and competitive battles, Jurassic World™: The Game offers a satisfying mix of building, creature progression, and PvP combat. While occasional performance issues can be frustrating, the breadth of content and tie-ins to the film make it appealing to fans who want both management and monster battles.
