Installing and enabling the keyboard

3. On Android 4.x and earlier: enable Google Indic Keyboard from the same Language & Input / Keyboard & Input methods settings. Then open the Default input selection and pick Google Indic Keyboard in the "Choose input method" dialog.
4. After enabling, switch to the keyboard in any app to begin typing.

• Hinglish — choose Hindi as the input language and receive suggestions that include both English and Romanized Hindi (Hinglish) terms.
