Overview of GOFA

GOFA is a free navigation application built for drivers in Vietnam. It focuses on safe, easy-to-use routing and provides a variety of features to improve the driving experience for car users across the country.

Live road data and sign alerts

GOFA pairs mapping with live traffic information so drivers stay aware of important road details. The app displays:

• Fixed and real-time traffic camera locations, including monitoring points
• Speed detection cameras and other speed-control devices
• No-overtaking markers and similar regulatory signs
• Markers for when you leave a residential zone
• Indicators for when you enter a residential area
• Posted speed limits along the route

Supported platforms and map presentation

GOFA runs on iOS and supports Apple CarPlay for in-car display. Map visuals are available in both light and dark themes, and are optimized for readability while driving.

Nationwide coverage and address search

The app includes comprehensive mapping for all 63 provinces and municipalities in Vietnam, allowing users to search for detailed local addresses anywhere in the country.

Route planning and driving assistance

GOFA offers intelligent routing and driver-oriented tools:

• Multiple suggested routes produced by optimized routing algorithms
• Automatic route re-routing when a wrong turn is detected, so navigation continues smoothly
• Quick access to your past trips and travel history
• In-app alerts about detected vehicle violations and an option to look up related fines
