GigaLife is a free mobile app from Smart Communications, Inc., designed to help Smart and TNT subscribers manage their mobile needs from an iPhone or iPod touch. It streamlines account maintenance, lets you handle subscriptions and payments, and rewards many in-app actions with loyalty points.
How You Earn GigaPoints
Every qualifying action inside the app adds to your GigaPoints balance. Typical ways to collect points include:
- Settling your bills and other payments through the app
- Subscribing to promos and bundles you like
- Reloading your balance or topping up your account
- Completing other transactions available within GigaLife
Note: There is a monthly cap of 500 GigaPoints per calendar month.
Redeeming Your Rewards
GigaPoints act like a peso-equivalent loyalty currency — 1 GigaPoint equals PHP 1. To redeem:
- Open the Redeem Rewards area in the app, browse available GIGA perks and non-telco items, then choose the reward you want
- You must accumulate at least 50 GigaPoints before you can claim rewards
Points are usable for both Smart-branded offers and selected partner items.
Checking Your Points and Validity
You can review and monitor your balance in a couple of ways:
- Dial *123# on your phone to display your balance and receive a detailed SMS summary
- View your running total and transaction history directly inside the GigaLife app
GigaPoints remain valid for 12 months from the date they are credited. When you earn new points, the expiry for your accumulated balance is updated to match the validity period of the most recently credited points.
