Brief overview
GameHub is a free utility created by tkashkin that gives you a single place to manage games installed on your computer. It consolidates titles from multiple sources, lets you move existing installations into its library, and supports games originating from Linux as well as older operating systems through compatibility tools.
Supported storefronts and collections
- Humble Trove
- Humble Bundle
- GOG
- Steam
Compatibility with older engines and compatibility layers
- ScummVM
- RetroArch
- DOSBox
- Wine / Proton
GameHub works with a variety of runtime environments so legacy or non-native games can be launched and managed alongside modern titles.
Key management actions
- View game details and metadata
- Run games directly from the interface
- Install titles into the GameHub library
- Uninstall games when no longer needed
- Download games or installers when available
In addition to basic file operations, GameHub handles installers, DLC, extra content and DRM-free collections while preserving per-game configuration.
Overlay, mod and file-change handling
GameHub supports optional filesystem overlays to apply mods or DLC without altering the original game files. Each overlay and the associated game data are kept in separate directories, and all modifications are recorded outside the original installation. That makes it straightforward to toggle overlays off or restore a game to its default state.
