freenet (from Voyager Innovations Inc.) is an Android application that helps you collect free mobile data (MB) you can spend on messaging, gaming, shopping, browsing partner sites, and more. Rather than buying a data bundle every time, the app lets you earn credits that unlock access to certain mobile content and rewards.

You can open a number of partner apps and websites through freenet at no direct data cost, provided you meet the network requirement (you must be a Smart, Sun, or TNT subscriber). Examples of supported partners include:

Managing when and how data is used
freenet gives you straightforward controls to prevent unwanted consumption. In the My Data section of the app you can switch data access on or off for the features and services you use. Access to some apps and pages requires MB credits rather than literal free unlimited data. You acquire these credits by completing in-app tasks and missions. There’s also a referral program: when you invite a friend and they join, both of you receive bonus MB credits.
