Instant soccer coverage for your Android devices
FotMob is a free mobile app that delivers live scores, match statistics, transfer alerts, news, and highlight updates straight to compatible Android phones and Wear OS watches. Developed by NorApps AS, it’s designed to keep fans informed wherever they are and can serve as an alternative to apps like LiveScore or Onefootball.
Competitions and leagues supported
FotMob tracks hundreds of competitions worldwide — more than 375 leagues and tournaments. Examples include:
- UEFA Champions League
- Major League Soccer (MLS)
- Premier League
- La Liga
- Serie A
- Ligue 1
- FIFA Euros
- Liga MX
- FA Women’s Super League
- Bundesliga
- Eredivisie
- Scottish Premiership
- FA Cup
- UEFA Nations League
- USL and NWSL
- The Championship and the English Football League (EFL)
Quick setup and account options
When you open the app you can sign in using Facebook, Google, or Twitter, or continue without an account. Selecting Quick Setup walks you through a short onboarding that customizes your feed:
- First, pick local clubs and teams you follow.
- Next, choose from widely popular clubs.
- Finally, add individual players you want to track.
All teams and players you select appear together in a dedicated Favorites area for rapid access to the most important updates.
How the app is organized
The interface is split into clear sections so you can find information fast. Main areas include:
- News — curated articles, transfer coverage, and story feeds tailored to your interests.
- Matches — a day-by-day schedule with a full-year calendar to view fixtures across competitions.
- Favorites — a consolidated stream of everything related to your chosen teams and players.
- Leagues — an index of competitions by country and division.
- More — extra features such as TV schedules, the Transfer Centre, and app Settings.
Personalization and display options
FotMob allows granular control of how information is shown and when you receive updates:
- Notification preferences, autoplay for highlights, and theme selection
- Language, currency, and unit measurements
- Odds format for bettors and other display options
Adjust these from the Settings area to match your preferences and locale.
Why it’s useful
The app is lightweight and focused on real-time updates, making it easy to follow live scores, upcoming fixtures, news, and match highlights for all your favorite teams and players. Wear OS support means you can glance at alerts while on the move.
A small navigation caveat
Overall navigation is smooth, but some users may find filtering and sorting which leagues appear in their feed a bit less intuitive than the rest of the interface. Otherwise, it offers a comprehensive, on-the-go way to stay connected to the world of soccer.
