About the FEI HorseApp

The FEI HorseApp is a complimentary app produced by the Federation Equestre Internationale for the global equestrian community. Designed for horse owners, FEI veterinarians and event staff, it brings practical tools to mobile devices to simplify identification, documentation and movement tracking of competition horses.

Core capabilities

• Quickly capture and upload horse documents by taking photos, then crop, rotate and adjust images with built-in editing tools.
• Identify a horse instantly by scanning the barcode printed on an FEI Passport or FEI Recognition Card.
• Support for external microchip readers so implanted IDs can be read directly into the app.
• Allow FEI veterinarians to record arrival examinations on-site using the app.
• Enable horse handlers and owners to log check-ins and check-outs themselves to record movements.
• Give event administrators the ability to complete horse check-outs from within the event workflow.
