Privacy and access controls

End-to-end encryption keeps your pictures encrypted during transfer and storage, so only the person with the correct credentials can decrypt them.
Account access is protected by a password chosen during sign-up, which is required to unlock any synced content.

Backup and fault tolerance

The service maintains multiple redundant copies of your data—up to three backups—hosted on separate servers to reduce the risk of loss.
