Overview

ElevenClock is a free utility for Windows 11, created by independent developer Martí Climent, that restores a clock on secondary taskbars. It’s designed to be lightweight and easy to install, and it integrates with multiple-monitor setups so the extra taskbars can display the time just like the primary one.

Why this exists

Windows 11 no longer displays the clock on non-primary taskbars, a change that frustrates users with multi-monitor configurations. ElevenClock was built specifically to correct that omission and provide a familiar clock experience on every taskbar.

Installation and integration

Installing ElevenClock is straightforward. Once set up, it runs quietly in the background and appears as if it were a native component of Windows — visually cohesive and responsive. The program is quick to configure via its settings menu, where most options are accessible without digging through multiple windows.

Key features

  • Choose which side of a secondary taskbar displays the clock, so it fits your layout.
  • Apply themes and appearance tweaks to better match Windows 11’s look.
  • Enable seconds to be shown in the clock display for more precise timing.
  • Allow the clock to remain visible even when full-screen apps or games are active.
  • Optionally show the current day of the week alongside the time.

Known limitations

  • Accessing the clock’s related panels (calendar, clock pop-up, and control center) still opens only on the primary monitor.
  • System tray icons and quick-settings toggles remain tied to the main screen as well. These are minor inconveniences that may be resolved in future updates.

Verdict

If you’ve moved to Windows 11 and use multiple displays, ElevenClock is a useful and practical fix for the missing secondary clocks. It’s small, configurable, and restores a convenience many users miss — a recommended add-on for multi-monitor setups.
