Watch live camera streams from your phone
EasyCam can display live video from many home cameras directly on your mobile device. The app claims compatibility with roughly 1,200 different camera models. If a camera on your property has Wi‑Fi or an Ethernet connection, there’s a good chance you can view its live feed through the app over the Internet.
Minimal interface and fast switching between feeds
The app’s design is intentionally pared down — the main screen shows a selection of camera tiles rather than a long list of configuration menus. That makes it quick to jump between active video feeds. For example, if you have four cameras routed through a single home hub, you can flip between those four live views without digging through settings. You can also access feeds coming from iOS devices left at home (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) provided those devices remain powered and networked.
Things to check about compatibility and connectivity
EasyCam is built to be simple, but that simplicity comes with tradeoffs. Connecting reliably often depends on a server or gateway working properly, and server-side connectivity can be increasingly unpredictable. The app does not guarantee support for every camera brand or firmware release, so even cameras of the same model may behave differently across generations or software versions.
Quick pre-purchase checklist
- Confirm your camera’s exact model number and firmware version to verify compatibility with the app.
- Verify that the device you want to view (IP camera or an iOS device) is network-enabled and remains reachable from outside your home network.
- Test whether a server or bridge is required for your camera and whether that service is still supported.
- Research whether newer revisions of your camera are explicitly listed as compatible, since updates can break app support.
