DunDun — Squat Repetition Tracker
DunDun is a standalone Apple Watch application for counting squat repetitions that also supports iPhone. Squats are an inexpensive, effective strength exercise you can perform virtually anywhere, and DunDun uses the device motion sensors to automatically log each rep so you can focus on form instead of tapping a screen.
What it does for your workouts
- Announces the current rep total aloud every ten repetitions so you don’t need to check your device.
- Lets you define goals in both the free and target modes and gives an audio cue when a goal is reached.
- Records workout duration, monitors heart rate during the session, and estimates calories burned from your activity.
- Works with Apple Health to sync workout entries and heart-rate measurements (requires permission to read and write health data).
Health syncing and permissions
DunDun integrates with the Apple Health app to store workout records and heart-rate data. To allow this synchronization it must be granted access to read and write the relevant health fields in Health.
