Turn your computer into a playable drum set
DrumPads is a small application that converts your PC into a virtual drum kit. It provides twelve on-screen pads you can trigger with a keyboard, mouse, or touchscreen, so you can start creating beats without extra hardware.
Control options and button layouts
You can choose the input method that suits you best and remap pads for comfort. Typical keyboard setups include:
- Keys ZXCV and BNM assigned to the last four pads
- Keys ASDF and GHJK linked to the middle four pads
- Keys QWER and TYUI mapped to the first four pads
Mouse and touch controls are also supported, letting you tap pads directly if you prefer a more tactile approach.
Sounds included
DrumPads ships with a library of 100 high-quality samples, covering a wide range of percussion tones. Examples from the collection:
- Ride and crash cymbals
- Open and closed hi-hats
- Kick drum and snare
- Bongo, gong, and cowbell
These give you everything needed to build basic drum tracks or practice rhythms.
