The Adrift Ship

You arrive at the mining vessel USG Ishimura to investigate why it has gone silent. The crew’s status is unknown, and early investigations quickly reveal gruesome, unsettling evidence that something terrible has happened aboard the ship.

Your Role and Immediate Objectives

You play as Isaac Clarke, a shipboard engineer sent to repair and investigate. Armed with only basic engineering tools at first, you must scavenge materials, jury-rig solutions, and adapt to survive. Along the way you’ll also try to uncover what happened to Isaac’s girlfriend, who is presumed trapped somewhere on the ship.

Key tasks you’ll face:

• Face off against hostile human-alien hybrid forms that have overrun the vessel.
• Repair and work around failing systems to restore functionality and unlock new areas.
• Search and inspect dark, dangerous corridors and compartments to gather clues and supplies.
