CTInsider is a free iPhone app that delivers a personalized mix of local and statewide journalism. It keeps you informed of breaking developments across Connecticut and packages lighter fare such as puzzles, comics, and GameTimeCT coverage for sports fans.

Plans and billing

There are two ways to use CTInsider: a no-cost tier with limited access, or unlimited access for $7.99 per month. New subscribers can try the full service with a two-week free trial before the monthly charge begins. Payment is processed through your iTunes/Apple account when you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. After subscribing, you can manage or disable auto-renewal from your Account Settings in the app or via your Apple ID subscription settings.

Access for existing subscribers

If you already subscribe to CTInsider, you should already have unlimited access. Digital-only subscribers can sign into the app with their account credentials to begin using benefits immediately. If you have a print subscription, activate your digital entitlement from the app’s welcome screen by selecting the option to link your print subscription.
