Classic Wood Block Puzzle is a retro-inspired block-arranging puzzle with a wooden theme. The objective is to place shapes on the play area to complete lines and score points, while preventing the grid from filling up.

How the game works

• Place pieces on the board to form full horizontal lines that then disappear, freeing space and increasing your score.
• Pieces come in various shapes and sizes; you can rotate them, but rotations often provide limited benefit because of the game's unique mechanics.
• The play surface is not the standard Tetris width; the grid layout and available space feel noticeably different.

How it departs from Tetris

• Unlike Tetris where clearing rows is the primary mechanic, this title also allows line completion using vertical columns as part of the clearing strategy.
• Rotation exists but doesn’t always create the same tactical advantages you’d expect from Tetris-style gameplay.
• Board dimensions and placement rules produce a slower, more thoughtful cadence compared with the fast drop-and-react pace of traditional falling-block games.

Known problems and limitations

• A recurring bug can falsely flag valid placements as impossible, or incorrectly report that no moves remain when there are still playable options.
• Because of these occasional detection errors, some runs may end prematurely through no fault of the player rather than through a genuine lack of moves.
