About Blesk — all your news in one place
Blesk is a free news application that brings together breaking reports, celebrity stories, politics, sports, video clips, and large image galleries. It provides both domestic and worldwide coverage so you can follow local updates and international developments from the same app.
Key capabilities
- A dark / night reading option for easier viewing in dim environments
- Offline download for text articles (note: videos and image galleries are excluded)
- Ability to bookmark articles and photo sets for reading later
- Rich multimedia sections including videos and photo collections
- Coverage spanning local, national, and international topics
Reading offline and low-light options
Blesk lets you store articles for moments when connectivity is poor — ideal for commutes or travel. When using offline mode, all written articles can be downloaded for later access; multimedia elements such as galleries and videos are not saved. For comfortable night-time reading, enable night mode to reduce glare and eye strain.
Subscription and paid content
- Paid editorial material and exclusive videos are available under Blesk Premium
- Subscriptions may be purchased on a monthly or annual basis with auto-renewal enabled
- Auto-renewal can be turned off through your device’s iTunes account settings; do this at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged
- When a subscription lapses, premium articles and video content will become inaccessible again
Sharing a paid subscription across devices
To use a purchased subscription on more than one device, sign in to the app using the same username and password associated with your Blesk account on the website. Once logged in, your subscription status will apply across devices until the subscription expires.
Suggested alternative
If you’re looking for something different, consider The Adventures of Tintin — available as a free option that offers a distinct reading experience.
