Bible-Discovery is a full-featured Bible study program that runs on Java. Despite being Java-based, the application launches quickly and performs smoothly in normal use.

Setup and platform notes

• The download package contains both a Windows EXE and a JAR file so it can be launched on Windows and on macOS via Java.
• Translations and some extra resources (about ten dictionaries and the various Bible translations) are not bundled with the installer; they must be downloaded separately from the developer’s site.

• Verse rendering speed has been significantly improved (roughly doubled) in anticipation of the next Android-compatible release.
• In the Bible panel, you can now advance pages within search results more smoothly, making navigation through matches quicker.
