What this application is for

BhuvanPOI lets people submit location information to strengthen Bhuvan Maps, the mapping platform maintained by ISRO. Users can add coordinates for points of interest — for example, ATMs, museums, or other notable places — and upload those entries to the central database. The app also uses a device’s GPS to capture and map features of your neighborhood.

How to add places

• Capture coordinates with your phone’s GPS and tag them with a descriptive name and category.
• Submit the recorded POI so it becomes part of ISRO’s map database for others to view.
• Optionally include photos or notes to improve the usefulness of each entry.
