BAT-BMS for iPhone

App overview

BAT-BMS is an iOS application built to monitor Bluetooth Smart (BLE) lithium batteries. The app connects wirelessly to compatible battery packs via iPhone and presents live status and diagnostic details so you can assess battery condition without installing a dedicated hardware monitor.

Monitored parameters

• Estimated state of charge (SOC) and overall pack voltage
• Individual cell voltages for pinpointing imbalances
• Charge and discharge current readings to track load and input behavior
• Pack temperature to help detect overheating risks
• Cumulative cycle count and life‑cycle indicators for long‑term health

Connection requirements and range

• Supports simultaneous pairing with multiple battery packs and lets you toggle between them in the interface
• Requires a phone with Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy support and typically maintains reliable communication up to roughly 15 meters

Moving a battery connection to another phone

To hand a battery connection off to a different mobile device, quit the BAT-BMS app on the current phone first; the battery will then be available for pairing from the second phone for a seamless device switch.
