Your role and main objectives
You play Edward Bratch, a night-shift security and maintenance worker at Freddy Fazbear’s Grill. Under the direction of the manager — a character notable for wearing a tall leather cowboy hat — you are sent to test the new Freddy Fast-Food Delivery system that moves meals through the building on a conveyor.
Primary duties include:
- Making sure customer orders are delivered correctly and on time via the conveyor system.
- Troubleshooting and repairing faulty equipment and delivery machines throughout the restaurant.
- Protecting the office and remaining alert for any intruders that attempt to enter.
Enemies and hazards
While the manager works in the kitchen, the Talkshow Animatronics (Bonnie, Chica, Freddy, and Foxy) unexpectedly become active. They begin to roam and exploit the delivery network and other routes to reach your office. Their behavior grows more aggressive over time, and they may try to frighten you or interrupt your maintenance tasks. Staying vigilant and prioritizing repairs and deliveries is essential to survive each night.
Gameplay flow and duration
The game is structured around progressively tougher nights that require juggling repairs, deliveries, and office defense. It’s accessible as a short experience: most players can finish it in under 30 minutes. Because it has a relatively small set of mechanics and a brief run time, replay value is limited — good for a single tense session but not designed for long-term replaying.
