Flex 3

Flex 3 (originally code-named "Moxie") was initially released on February 25, 2008. It was focused in 4 areas:

  • Designer/Developer workflow: e.g., enhanced constraints, Flex Component Kit for Flash CS3
  • Working with data: e.g., list effects
  • Adobe AIR applications: support in the framework for Adobe AIR features
  • Platform evolution: e.g., persistent framework caching, compiler performance

Flex 3.1

Flex 3.1 is a milestone release that provide a small number of bug fixes as well as official support for AIR 1.1.

Flex 3.2

Flex 3.2 is a milestone release that introduces a small number of bug fixes along with a feature we call the Marshall Plan. The Marshall Plan is meant to support cross-versioning of Flex applications as well as support common portal-like use-cases which can be found in both AIR and web-based applications. Please review the Marshall Plan specification for more information. Finally Flex 3.2 introduces official support for Flash Player 10 and AIR 1.5.

Flex 3.3

The Flex 3.3 milestone release supports the security updated for Flash Player 10 and AIR 1.5. It is also provides key bug fixes for Marshall Plan (3.2) issues.
